Teeth can discolour due to several reasons including cavities, trauma, and previous root canal therapy. When a tooth does not respond to take-home whitening kits or in-office tooth whitening procedures at your dentist, having an endodontist bleach or whiten the tooth from the inside (internal bleaching) can oftentimes provide years of improved esthetics for these teeth.

At your examination appointment, Dr. Bellamy can recommend whether or not internal bleaching is an option to improve the appearance of your tooth.
